Here at Idealist, we’re about to kick off our graduate school fair season. Since 2004, we have been helping prepare the next generation of nonprofit leaders by connecting thousands of prospective students with hundreds of admissions representatives from graduate programs supporting the social good sector. While providing resources and developing relationships with these graduate programs is part of our work year round, September is the start of a nearly two month season of hosting graduate fairs across the country.
We invite schools with graduate programs in social work, public policy, nonprofit management, international affairs, public interest law, social entrepreneurship, and many more. At fairs, you are able to speak directly with admissions advisors and university representatives about their programs, and it’s a great chance to hear and evaluate multiple programs without having to travel to every campus. Additionally, our fairs are free and open to anyone interested in learning about grad school!
If all of this is making you wonder whether graduate school is right for you, a colleague, or a friend, take a look at this article from our grad school resource center, “Good Reasons to Go To Grad School.” Also, take a look at where we’re headed this fall and see if we’re coming to your city or somewhere close by.
